SIMPLE WILLS CLINICThe next Wills Clinic is being planned for early 2009. Date, time, place and more details to be announced.About our Simple Wills ClinicThe Northwest Louisiana Pro Bono Project sponsors a FREE Wills Clinic for low-income residents of Caddo and Bossier Parishes. If you meet our income and residency guidelines, you can have a simple last will and testament drafted at no cost. Our WILLS CLINIC begins with a presentation by a local Shreveport attorney about the basics of wills and successions. After the presentation, you'll meet with one of our volunteer attorneys to draft your will document. To have a free will prepared at the Wills Clinic:You must be a resident of Caddo or Bossier Parishes, and your combined household income cannot exceed our program's income guidelines. Call 221-2205 to find out if you qualify to take part in this program. If you are eligible, we'll pre-register you for our next Wills Clinic, and mail you a will preparation worksheet to fill out. If you have an email address and have access to a printer, we can email the worksheet to you. Please note, you must be able to print out the worksheet, because you must bring your completed worksheet with you to your appointment.
